Former wrestler "The Million Dollar Man" to speak at area school

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) - You may have known him years ago as "The Million Dollar Man” of professional wrestling, but now Ted DiBiase is a motivational speaker.

Since his retirement from wrestling, DiBiase has dedicated himself to turning his life around from drugs and alcohol, and is now an ordained minister.

DiBiase admits that the highest point in his career was also his lowest, but he says he has his wife to thank for helping him get through it.

"If I could share my whole life in a phrase it would be “I've been there I've done that” and “I wore that t-shirt out,”” he said. “When I realized if I didn't have my wife or didn't have my family, none of that mattered to me."

DiBiase and his wife will be speaking to the public at the Tomah Middle School Saturday at 6 p.m., along with a few other public events.
