The 5th Annual WEAU charity softball game

MENOMONIE, Wis. (WEAU) -- It was a fun, but a bit of a sloppy night out at Wakanda Park as team WEAU took part in our fourth annual charity softball game.

Our team took on the Menomonie Blue Caps vintage baseball team.

After drying off the field as much as they could, WEAU anchors, reporters and staff took their best cuts, trying to show off their athletic skills for a crowd of around 450 people!

The Blue Caps ended up pulling out the win, 21-14.

The proceeds from tonight's game go to the Dunn County historical society, which sponsors the Blue Caps baseball team.
