CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU)-- It's all in the family for a third-generation police officer in Chippewa Falls.
On Tuesday, in a Chippewa County courtroom, Officer Drew Zehm was sworn in as the newest member of the Chippewa Falls Police Department.

Drew's grandfather and uncle were both Lieutenants in the Chippewa Falls Police Department.

"It's exciting to follow in their footsteps and serve the community I grew up in. It's a great personal accomplishment but it's much more a family accomplishment as well," said Officer Drew Zehm.

Zehm also was born and raised in Chippewa Falls. His first day on patrol will be Monday.
