NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Investigators arrested three people after serving a search warrant in a drug investigation.

A news release from the Clark County Sheriff and Colby-Abbotsford Police Chief announced the arrests on Thursday. Both agencies served the search warrant on Sycamore Street in Abbotsford Wednesday afternoon. A SWAT team was involved. Officers took two people to jail on suspicion of meth possession. Another person was arrested for a probation violation. None of the suspects' names were released. Investigators also found illegal drugs, paraphernalia, and a weapon. The release did not elaborate.

The release says an investigation that involved both agencies "over a period of time" led to the arrests.
