WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- Three people killed in a central Wisconsin car crash are identified as members of a family from Oklahoma.
A fourth family member survived Thursday's crash and is hospitalized in Wausau.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says Roy and Jenny Kato, both 34, and their 13-year-old son, Joshua, were killed when their vehicle slid into the path of another vehicle in Marathon County. The Katos' 5-year-old daughter, Brook, suffered non-life threatening injuries. She was taken to Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
The State Patrol says the family was from Tecumseh, Okla.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 32-year-old Schofield man, was also injured and taken to Aspirus.
WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities say three people were killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Wausau.
Marathon County sheriff's officials say a vehicle with four occupants slid across the centerline in the town of Maine about 8:30 a.m. Thursday and struck a second vehicle broadside. Three people in the first vehicle were killed. A fourth passenger and the driver of the second vehicle were taken to Aspirus Wausau hospital.
Sheriff's Lt. Steve Krueger tells the Wausau Daily Herald (http://wdhne.ws/12lgmpY ) the State Patrol is working on reconstructing the accident.
