MENOMONIE, Wis. (DUNN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE) -- On October 27, 2008, at 12:01 a.m. Torches Valley Bar in Lucas Township was robbed at gunpoint by three individuals.

During a review of cold cases, further evidence from the case was submitted to the Wisconsin Crime Lab for DNA analysis. Our agency was later informed by the crime lab that a DNA profile was developed and matched the known DNA profile of Christina M Dixon. Dixon was listed as a possible suspect and was interviewed on 10-28-08 but denied any involvement.

Investigators interviewed Christina Dixon again on June 11, 2014 and confronted her with the DNA evidence and she ultimately confessed to being one of the three individuals who robbed the bar. She also named and described the other two individuals who committed the crime with her. They are identified as: 36 year male, Terrance E. Mills of New Auburn and 28 year old male, Matthew M Baier of Redgranite, WI.

Both have been arrested for Armed Robbery and released from jail on cash bond. The case has been sent to the District Attorney’s Office for formal charges. Christina Dixon is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges and is also awaiting formal charges in this case.
