ALMA, Wis. (WEAU) -- Deputies expect more arrests after catching three suspects in a string of burglaries.

On Tuesday, the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office said it suspects Tanner Johnson, 18, of Buffalo City, Joseph Meyers, 18, of Nelson, and Brett Douglas, 17, of Fountain City in the crimes. Prosecutors filed criminal charges against Johnson and Douglas on Tuesday. Deputies say they arrested two of the suspects as they responded to a burglary in Buffalo City. The third suspect turned himself in. A 15-year-old girl from Alma is suspected in one of the burglaries, and was referred for possible charges. Another person ran off, and hadn't been found as of late Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies say they've resolved 11 burglaries in the county in July, but that several others remain under investigation. They say the suspects typically took cash and consumer goods from local businesses.
