Three counties getting $700,000 in grants for radio systems
The governor announced Barron, Sawyer and Dunn County would get the grant money to help purchase new radios or upgrade systems to be used on the state wide communications system.

(WEAU) - Three different counties in our area are getting hundreds of thousands of dollars to upgrade their radio systems.
Tuesday, the governor announced the counties would get the grant money to help them purchase new radios or upgrade systems to be used on the state wide communications system. Barron County will get almost $100,000 and Sawyer and Dunn County will get more than $300,000 each.
The governor says the system will let county agencies more easily talk to each other during emergencies.
