Thursday's I-94 crash victim identified
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Wisconsin state patrol has identified the semi-truck driver who collapsed and died on I-94 Thursday as 58 year old Lewis Howard Stone of Dundee Michigan.
Deputies say a semi and a pickup truck with a trailer collided on an icy stretch of I-94 just west Eau Claire after the pick-up lost control.
Nobody was hurt in the original crash -- but after Stone checked on the people in the pickup, he collapsed and died a short time later at a local hospital.
