EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- An entrepreneur is the winner of an annual business contest.
On Wednesday, The Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation and Northwestern Bank presented a $5,000 check to John Gustafson. It'll go toward expenses he'll incur while bringing the The THOR Mini Quick-TachTM to the marketplace. The product is designed to let someone running a tractor switch between attachments quickly and safely.
Gustafson also won $500 cash and $1,000 in technical aid earlier in the challenge. A panel of judges picked Gustafson's idea from five finalists. They had presented their ideas earlier in the day.
