Turtle Lake man hurt in motorcycle crash

BARRON, Wis. (WEAU) -- Investigators say speed is a factor in a motorcycle crash that left the driver hurt.

Ben Stuivenga, 25, of Turtle Lake was riding the motorcycle just after noon Friday on County Road P, south of Almena. The Barron County Sheriff's Department says he collided with a deer. Deputies found the motorcycle in a field. Stuivenga ended up with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was flown to the hospital.
