Twin girls born on day of snow storm

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)-- A family from Cameron was able to dodge the storm this weekend to make a special delivery.

Kelly Kringle and her husband Frank were expecting twins so they drove to the Mayo Clinic Health System hospital Saturday to avoid the snow storm.

Sunday afternoon, little Olivia and Peyton were born.

"we weren't expecting twins to begin with, and then we were, and then it happens to be around Christmas time and the snow storm and it just all kind of happened pretty nicely," said mom Kelly Kringle.

Kelly and Frank say they look forward to telling the girls how they were born on the day we had a big snow storm.

As for choosing their names, Kelly joked that they already have a "Kris Kringle" in the family. That's Kelly's mother's name.
