CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) -- Rescue crews from the Chippewa Valley are headed to flood-ravaged Colorado where the statewide death toll now stands at four.
According to the American Red Cross, Linda Rammer and Jennifer Armstrong of Chippewa Falls will help make sure emergency health needs of the affected communities have been met. They'll be there for a minimum of two weeks as Red Cross disaster health service workers.
As of Saturday morning, National Guard Helicopters had evacuated nearly 800 stranded people throughout the region. In Boulder County, more than 170 people remain unaccounted for.
