LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) – Police arrested two men in a drive-by shooting Monday morning.

La Crosse Police say they caught Eric Loomis, 31, of La Crosse and Michael Vang, 27, of La Crosse after chasing them in a car and on foot.

Officers say a car went by a home on Kane Street and that two shots were fired at it around 2:15 a.m. Monday. The shots did not hit anyone. Nobody was hurt. The suspects took off. Someone called for help and told investigators what the car looked like. An officer found a car matching the description on Winneshiek Rd. The officer ended up chasing after the car, which ended up in a snow bank on St. James Street. Two people ran from the car, but were later arrested. Investigators also found a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun, two empty casings, and several live rounds in the car, which they say had been stolen in La Crosse.

Neither suspect has been charged.
