(WEAU) - Two people are hurt in a head on crash in Pierce County.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department says it happened Sunday near Maiden Rock. Deputies say Robert Parris, 33, was driving west on 420th Street when he crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic. He then hit a car driven by Teha Anderson, 20 of Red Wing, MN, head-on.

The sheriff’s department says Parris was flown to Regions Hospital with undetermined injuries. Anderson was taken to a Red Wing hospital by ambulance with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
