Two men arrested in foot chase facing charges

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)-- Two men accused of running from Eau Claire police on Fairfax Street over the weekend have now been charged.

A criminal complaint shows 26-year-old Jacob Berg faces five charges including intimidation of a witness and criminal trespassing. 31-year-old Jedidiah Pinley is charged with obstructing an officer and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Police say the pair were arrested Sunday after officers responded to reports of a man with a gun making threats. The suspects left the area, eventually leading to a foot chase.

Pinley was arrested a short time later and Berg was arrested from an apartment where police say he surrendered.
