EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - UPDATE: Eau Claire police say they believe Brady Wolfe, 22, is still in critical condition. Friday evening officers say Caston Arnold, the 19-year-old passenger died from his injuries.

There is still no word on what led to the crash. Officers say reconstruction continues and it is under investigation.

Two men who were hurt in a crash with a semi trailer remain in the hospital as of Friday afternoon.

Eau Claire police say they believe Brady Wolfe, 22, and Caston Arnold, 19, are both still in "critical care." The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of North Hastings Way/Business 53 and Melby Street. A semi was going south on Business 53 and had a green light to turn left onto Melby Street. Police say Wolfe was driving the car, which didn't stop at a red light as it headed north on Business 53. It ended up going under the trailer part of the semi. Officers say the car continued moving, likely because of the severity of Wolfe's injuries. Both Wolfe and Arnold were taken to the hospital with severe injuries. The semi driver wasn't hurt.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, and that they have a reconstruction team working on it. They are also waiting to receive toxicology reports.
