Menomonie police officers arrested two people after a strong armed robbery on Thursday night.

The department says around 9:20 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Kwik Trip store on Broadway where a strong armed robbery had just happened one block from the store. While officers were investigating this incident, a victim from a second strong armed robbery approached the officers advising that he was also victim of a strong armed robbery that had just happened in the same area near Fowler Park.

Each victim reported that while walking down the street they were jumped by a group of African Americans and physically assaulted. One of the victims says that while being physically assaulted, the suspects said, "Give me everything you got." They then took an undisclosed amount of cash from that victim. The second victim reported a similar occurrence in which the suspects attacked him and demanded all his money.

A short time later, officers say they saw the two suspects, Tymothy Cruickshank, 19, and Charisma Monique Johnson, 21, both of Menomonie, walking near the incident locations. Both matched the detailed physical descriptions of the suspects that were provided by the victims. Officers arrested Cruickshank and Johnson. A third suspect has been identified as a juvenile and is pending arrest.
