The case remains under investigation by the Barron County Sheriff’s Department.
BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)-- Two people were arrested after deputies found a marijuana growing operation west of Barron.
The sheriff's department says 32-year-old Michael Barrett and 28-year-old Kristin Brendel were taken to the Barron County jail.
Deputies say they found 23 plants and various equipment used to grow the marijuana at a home on 9 ½ Street in Poskin. They say they also found what is believed to be LSD and psilocybin mushrooms. The evidence was being sent to the Wisconsin State Crime Lab for analysis.
A child in the home was turned over to the Department of Health and Human Services.
