LOYAL, Wis. (WEAU)-- Two people are hurt in a head-on crash in Clark County.

The Sheriff's Department says it happened just before eight Monday morning on Highway 98 in the Town of Sherman, which is east of Loyal.

Deputies believe 76-year-old Janet Hills was going east on 98 when she crossed the center line into the path of another car driven by a 16-year-old boy on his way to school. One of the cars ended up on its roof and caught fire.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for about an hour while crews cleared the scene.
