Two people injured in a rollover crash in the Township of Lafayette

TOWNSHIP OF LAFAYETTE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle rollover on State Highway 29 at approximately 6:12PM tonight.

At the time of crash three people were inside the vehicle. Police say vehicle drifted to the median side of the roadway and collided with the guard rail safety barrier causing the vehicle to roll.

State Highway 29-West Bound number one lane was shut down for approximately 45 minutes for removal of the vehicle and cleans up.

One adult male and one adult female were transported to an Eau Claire area hospital for treatment from injuries sustained in the crash. None of the injuries were life threatening.
