Two hurt in one-vehicle crash in Monroe County
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened at the intersection of State Hwy 71 and State Hwy 27 in the Township of Little Falls around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

LITTLE FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – Two people are hurt after a one-vehicle crash in Monroe County.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened at the intersection of State Hwy 71 and State Hwy 27 in the Township of Little Falls around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies say a jeep, driven by 21-year-old Agustin Martinez-Grajales of rural Melrose, failed to stop while heading eastbound Hwy 27, striking an embankment and starting on fire.
Deputies say both the driver and passenger 25-year-old Raul Trinidad-Marcos also of rural Melrose were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
On scene were the Sheriff’s Department, Sparta Rural Fire Department, Cataract First Responders and the Sparta Area Ambulance Service.
