Fans over at Justin Vernon's alma mater had their fingers crossed for Bon Iver.
UW-Eau Claire students held "Towers night at the Grammys" Sunday evening at Towers Hall.
Students cheered on Bon Iver, and even had music themed activities like Bon Iver related trivia and a costume contest.
Students say they're thrilled to celebrate the success of their fellow Blugolds, Vernon and Sean Carey.
“It's really exciting to have Bon Iver sing a song about a place that we love. It's nice having hype about our dorm where people are like oh you're from Eau Claire, do you know Towers and you can say I actually live there,” Towers South resident assistant Ali Ciatti tells us.
