MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker won a huge victory when is collective bargaining bill passed. But Democrats and unions are vowing to strike back, and they plan to start by ousting state Supreme Court Justice David Prosser.

The conservative-leaning Prosser faces Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg in an election April 5 for a 10-year term on the state's highest court. Their campaigns have been chugging along in the background as massive protests over Walker's union bill consumed media attention.

Walker signed the bill on Friday. The move has energized his opponents. Now they're looking toward taking out Prosser as the first step in their counter-offensive. Kloppenburg's camp says she's not taking sides, but her Facebook page is alive with comments calling the court race the most important contest in Wisconsin right now.
