United Way collecting goods for the homeless and families in need

(WEAU) - Now is your chance to help the homeless and other families in need.

The United Way is collecting personal care items in shoe boxes until November 8th. It’s asking for things like soap, shampoo, and toothpaste.

You can fill up a shoebox and drop it off at these locations:

Country Jam, 1711 South Hastings Way, Eau Claire
Chippewa River Industries, 1000 Lake Wissota Drive, Chippewa Falls
Macy’s, 4606 Golf Road, Eau Claire
M&I Bank (a part of MBO Financial), Hwy 93, Eau Claire
M&I Bank (a part of MBO Financial), 411 N. Bridge Street, Chippewa Falls
United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley, 3603 N. Hastings Way, Suite 200, Eau Claire
Wal-Mart, 3915 Gateway Drive, Eau Claire
