Van fire damages Rice Lake building, home

RICE LAKE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A van fire spread to a building and caused almost $20,000 in damage.

It happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday on S. Wisconsin Avenue in Rice Lake. The Rice Lake Fire Department responded and found heavy fire coming from the van, and stretching to the building and attic. Crews got the fire under control in about a half-hour. A neighbor's home south of the fire ended up with heat damage. Nobody was hurt.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
