BEAVER DAM, Wis. (AP) -- Dozens of bronze military flag holders have been stolen from the graves of veterans at a Beaver Dam cemetery.

Oakwood Cemetery manager Russ Kottke says "it's disgusting" that someone robbed the veterans who were honored with the bronze markers. Dodge County Sheriff Pat Ninmann says the markers were taken from the graves of World War I, World War II and Korean War veterans.

Kottke tells the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen (http://bit.ly/1n6ZEzu ) the makers were taken over the July Fourth weekend. The thieves stole the markers, but left the small flags they held behind.
