EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)- Another Wisconsin energy provider is asking its customers to conserve following a pipeline rupture in Canada.

We Energies says they are asking customers to reduce and conserve their natural gas usage in the next 72 hours.

The company is asking customers in Tomah, Sparta, Black River Falls, Hixton, Osseo, Augusta, Cadott, Ladysmith, Hayward and Rice Lake to conserve energy for at least the next two days.

Midwest Natural Gas Company, which services natural gas to homes and business from Richland County north along the Mississippi river to Hudson, Wisconsin is experiencing critical gas supply constraints as well.

Midwest says it encourages it’s customers to conserve natural gas and to lower their thermostats to 60 degrees if their health permits.
