MADISON, WI (WEAU) With tax season in full swing, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue is encouraging college students to file their state tax returns online.

The Department of Revenue says its e-file program and mobile app help walk users through the process of filing taxes.

Officials say the website offers full instructions for anyone wishing to file state taxes.

The Department of Revenue says it expects about three-million tax returns this year. Roughly 80% of those returns will be e-filed.
