Walker introduces new CEO of WEDC in Eau Claire, La Crosse

(WEAU) - Governor Scott Walker stopped in Western Wisconsin Wednesday to introduce a new state leader.

He was at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport to introduce the new CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Reed Hall. It's an organization Walker created to help fulfill his promise of $250,000 jobs in his first term.

Hall talked about the support he's hoping to get from people around the state. "We all must support economic development and job growth I think. It's something that you have to support if Wisconsin is going to move ahead.”
Hall is the former head of Marshfield Clinic.
