Walker teams up with Sesame Street to promote health

MADISON, Wis. (WEAU) -- Gov. Scott Walker's office says the the governor recently teamed up with Sesame Street to promote healthy habits for kids by making a video.

According to a news release from Walker's office, the video is in partnership with the National Governors Association.

The video shows Rosita and Abby Caddaby from Sesame Street with Walker who is dressed in a Wisconsin Badgers sweatshirt.

Walker and the Sesame Street characters talk about why eating nutritious food and exercising are healthy habits for children.

“Rosita and Abby have a great message for kids—eat right, and get some exercise, every day,” Governor Walker said. “A healthy body supports a healthy mind. It’s the key to a bright and happy future.”
