MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker is scheduled to speak next week at a Florida fundraiser hosted by the conservative James Madison Institute.
The institute says Walker plans to give a speech at a golf resort in Naples, Fla.
Tickets for non-members ranged from $100 per person to $2,500 for table sponsorships.
Walker has been traveling across the country appearing at similar events as he's racked up more than $12 million to defend himself from a potential recall election.
Recall organizers say they have submitted about 1 million signatures to force a recall election. It takes about 540,000. Election officials are in the process of verifying the signatures.
