EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Parts of the UW-Eau Claire campus construction project wrapped up Friday.
The east entrances to Schofield Hall and a new north-south sidewalk adjacent to those entrances have been re-opened. This is one of the first steps toward the completion of the new central campus mall and the construction of the new $44.5 million Centennial Hall.
The new central campus mall will include a central “hub” gathering space, 47 new trees and the moving of the "Sprites" sculpture.
The central campus mall construction is planned to continue through the fall semester.
