Wanted suspect in Chippewa County spotted in Rhinelander

RHINELANDER, Wis. (WEAU)-- A suspect wanted in Chippewa County was spotted in Rhinelander Wednesday.

The Rhinelander Police Department says around 5:30 Wednesday night, a woman claimed she saw 38-year-old Eric Hall and the vehicle matching the description of the one deputies say Hall was driving.

Hall is wanted in connection with several missing vehicles in Chippewa County and may also have stolen weapons.

Deputies from several law enforcement agencies are searching for Hall. He was released from prison on June 10th. Police say Hall could be headed to Vilas County where he has a 2 1/2 year old child with a woman in that area.

Hall was last seen driving a 2000 tan Chevrolet Silverado, with license plate JE7691, with pink hunting stickers in the rear window.

Officers want to remind you that if you spot Hall or the vehicle, do NOT approach or confront him. Call law enforcement immediately.
