Several neighborhoods are left without water, after a water main break off Truax Blvd.

The Eau Claire Utilities Department says an 8-inch water main near the Nestle Plant broke. It happened at the 31-hundred block of 14th Street around 6:30pm Friday.

The city says parts of 14th street were blocked off to traffic.
We're told the water will be turned off from Nestle to Folsom street.
People in that area on Greenfield Drive will also be without water until approximately midnight.

The Utilities Department believe frost and weather conditions caused the break.
