La Fortuna de San Carlos, Costa Rica -- A 19 year-old woman, traveling with a group from Wisconsin, was raped in Costa Rica, and now four men have been arrested in the case.
According to local media, the woman arrived in the country with a group of seven students and two supervisors on Saturday, July 12th.
Police say she went to a bar with her group that night, then returned to the bar alone later on, to look for a missing item.
Before she made it back to her hotel, a group of men reportedly grabbed her off the street and sexually assaulted her in a field near the town's public park.
Police are not releasing her name at this time.
Four suspects were taken into custody of Costa Rica's Judicial Investigation Police on Tuesday.
They will be handed to the town's prosecutor's office for questioning.
