Wild recalls Dowell from AHL

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WEAU) -- The Wild has recalled an Eau Claire native from the American Hockey League.

On Wednesday, the team's website said that forward Jake Dowell had been recalled from the Iowa Wild. Dowell had six goals and eight assists in 40 games with Iowa this season. In his NHL career, he has 11 goals and 22 assists in 156 games with Chicago, Dallas, and the Wild.

Dowell wears No. 18 with the Wild. He played in two games with the team last season. The team also recalled defenseman Jonathon Blum.
