Eau Claire (WEAU)

***BLIZZARD WARNING*** still in effect for Crawford, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Vernon in WI and Houston and Winona in MN to Midnight.

***WINTER STORM WARNING*** still in effect for Buffalo, Clark, Jackson, Taylor, Trempealeau and Wood in WI until Midnight.

Here's the snowfall map. We measured 4.5" at the WEAU station in Eau Claire.

The snow is pushing to the east and the clouds will thin out. But the strong winds at 15 to 30 mph will continue tonight, so blowing and drifting of snow will continue to make traveling difficult tonight and early Friday.

The winds will still be gusty Friday morning, putting wind chills below zero to start the day, so bundle up for the start of your day. The winds will calm down as we progress through the day, and the sunshine will make for nice weather to enjoy the fresh snow by the afternoon. This weekend high temps are will only rise into the middle 20s, and overnight lows in the single digits.
