MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee County authorities say a male correctional officer is suspected of planting a hidden camera in his female colleagues' changing area.

The man has been arrested and his case forwarded to the district attorney's office. The sheriff's office said Friday he resigned after being placed on administrative leave.

Authorities say the investigation began when a female correctional officer at the Milwaukee County Jail reported seeing the man come out of the women's locker room. Investigators say they found recording equipment in the man's locker that was recording from a wireless camera planted in the women's changing area.

Detectives are trying to determine whether there were any other victims.
