MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Residents across Wisconsin are marking the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Gov. Scott Walker has ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff in remembrance on Tuesday. He was expected to attend a morning ceremony in Milwaukee.
In central Wisconsin, there's the Remember 9/11 Freedom Walk, which ends at the Wisconsin State Firefighter's Memorial in Wisconsin Rapids.
There's also a morning ceremony in Tomahawk. Afterward, there will be a parade with a bagpiper and fire and police officials, emergency vehicles and personnel and veterans.
