(WEAU) - If you want a chance to apply for the Wisconsin wolf hunt you have a few more days to do so.
The application process has been extended until Friday September 7th.
The original deadline was the end of August but the DNR chose to extend it in order to wait for a Dane County judge to make a ruling on the use of dogs in the hunt.
So far, the DNR says it has recieved over 10,000 applications for the hunt.
Only 1,160 licenses will be issued for the hunt shortly after the application deadline.
