ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU)-- An Altoona woman is charged after investigators say she left her two kids at home alone multiple times overnight.

The criminal complaint says 29-year-old Hope Williams faces two counts of child neglect after leaving her two kids, ages 9 and 6 alone.
It says when police asked her kids what happened, they said they were left alone at night two or three times. Williams admitted to leaving the kids home alone, but told investigators it was never for more than a couple hours and said she checked on them.

If convicted, she faces 18 months in prison.
