Woman arrested for OWI after hitting gas station with her car

(WEAU) - Police arrest a woman for OWI after they say she hit a gas station with her car.

Eau Claire police say the 58-year-old woman was trying to park at the Direct Store on Patton Street Tuesday afternoon, but ended up hitting it. Officers say there's damage to one door and the frame of another door is jammed. There's also some damage to a wall.

The woman was taken to the hospital and then arrested. No one in the store was hurt.

The store remains open and so far, there's no damage estimate.
