OSSEO, Wis. (WEAU)-- A woman accused of killing a toddler has changed her plea.

In Trempealeau County Court Tuesday, 23-year-old Amanda Butts withdrew a plea of not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect and changed her plea to not guilty.

Butts is charged with first-degree reckless homicide and several other charges in the death of 22-month-old Alexis Behlke in June.

The medical examiner says Alexis died from acute intoxication due to the combined effects of oxycodone, an antihistamine and an anti-depressant.
