(WEAU) - A one car crash in Rusk County has injured a woman from Ladysmith.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says the crash happened a little before 6 p.m. Wednesday night on US 8 near Tony. It says a man from Illinois was driving when he get distracted by lighting a cigarette and talking to the passengers and left the road.
The car flipped and ended up on its top. The driver and a front seat passenger were wearing their seat belts and were uninjured. It says the backseat passenger, a woman from Ladysmith, was not wearing a seat-belt and was thrown from the car.
She has been flown to a hospital with unknown injuries.
