(WEAU) - Federal nuclear regulators have cited Xcel Energy for a security violation at the Prairie Island Nuclear Plant.
A spokesperson for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission says the violation was spotted during an October inspection, and was of "at least low to moderate security significance." The agency wouldn't specify what the violation was, and there was no fine.
Xcel can appeal the findings.
