Young athletes play ball with Timberwolves forward Corey Brewer

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) Playing with a professional basketball player is a dream for many young athletes.

Friday Minnesota Timberwolves forward Corey Brewer coached kids on the game for a free basketball clinic at the YMCA in Eau Claire.

He's here as part of the team's summer caravan.

Kids also got the chance to take photos and get autographs.

"I have a blast just going around to different communities in Minnesota that I don't get to see and here in Wisconsin. It's my first time being in Eau Claire, so it's fun for me but just to see the kids smiling and having a good time is always fun. But then, my brother was like a superstar to me, so I can only imagine if I got to see an NBA player," says Brewer.

The caravan also made stops in Owatonna and St. Cloud.
