Updated: 06/24/2009 - In a rematch of a sectional final from last season, the Thorp softball team again needed 12 innings to earn a victory over Rosholt, as the Cardinals won, 3-2, in a Division 4 state semifinal Friday afternoon. In Division 2, an impressive 21-win season for Altoona came to end, as the Railroaders lost, 3-1, to Luxemburg-Casco in a semifinal match-up.
