Posted: 11/05/2011 - The Menomonie High School football team showed no signs of slowing down its march toward Madison in the WIAA playoffs, beating Tomah 34-6 in a Division 2 state quarterfinal game. Joining the Mustangs will be Eau Claire Regis, which rolled to a 38-0 victory against Spring Valley in a Division 6 Level 3 game. At the WIAA girls state volleyball tournament, Owen-Withee moved on in Division 4 with a semifinal win against Wausau Newman, while Grantsburg saw its season end with a loss to Spencer in Division 3.
