It's a new book from local author Michael Perry, his third memoir. This time about a year on 37 acres of land with his wife, daughters and an assortment of livestock. It's called 'Coop: A Year of Poultry, Pigs and Parenting'. The New Auburn native is also the author of ‘Population 485: Meeting Your Neighbors One Siren at a Time’ and ‘Truck a Love Story.’
He's also the frontman of a band called 'Michael Perry and the Longbeds.’ They're performing Thursday night, July 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Phoenix Park in Eau Claire, part of the Sounds Like Summer concert series.
